Install wine (yum install wine or apt-get install wine )

Download and install the Windows version of Acrobat reader: ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/10.x/ (I chose the .exe version for the download)

Install it using wine.

My Install of Acrobat Reader X for Windows went flawlessly in wine-1.3.24 under Fedora 15.

When launching you might find it will complain about protected mode. I just selected “Open with Protected Mode Disabled” and away we went.

Also there is no html rendering available in the PDF Reader and it prompts to install Ghecko but I just opened it without installing Ghecko.

There was no problems I can tell annotating (highlighting stuff in yellow), saving the PDF and then opening in the Linux version of Acrobat Reader.
