Eclipse IDE Files have Asterix’s and Appear Selected in PHP Explorer

Cause: You are using git for version control and these files are changed but not committed

Turning it off: In Eclipse goto Window ==> Preferences ==> Appearance ==> Label Decorations. Search for and de-select “Git Decorator” Click Apply and then OK.
