Since installing Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04 I have had a problem with my Intel embedded graphics card not being able to play video.

Mplayer Error Message:

“X11 error: BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)”

Discover your Video Chipset:

lspci -nn | grep VGA

My Video Chipset:
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation 82865G Integrated Graphics Controller [8086:2572] (rev 02)
The Fix:
Revert your Intel Driver to an older version.
