Last Default Fedora 32 Kernel that VMWare Workstation just works with no mods

If you like you can use an older kernel and just pin it to be the default kernel

5.6.19-300.fc32.x86_64

The last Fedora 32 kernel that works with VMWare Workstation that I know of.

Compiling and installing VMWare Workstation 15.5.6 using Patched Modules

Goto https://github.com/mkubecek/vmware-host-modules

Click on Releases

I want to install modules for kernel-core-5.7.16-200.fc32.x86_64 so I find the release for 15.5.6 k5.7 https://github.com/mkubecek/vmware-host-modules/releases/tag/w15.5.6-k5.7

Click on the link https://github.com/mkubecek/vmware-host-modules/releases/tag/w15.5.6-k5.7 Download the tar.gz

https://github.com/mkubecek/vmware-host-modules/archive/w15.5.6-k5.7.tar.gz

Untar the vmware-host-modules-w15.5.6-k5.7.tar.gz file and then follow the Second method (replace original tarballs): in the vmware-host-modules-w15.5.6-k5.7/INSTALL folder

The first method gives errors when running of missing /dev/vmmon device
