Had a great day yesterday with the cooking class.

We did a market tour. Basically they  showed us what was available and what the differences were between our supermarket products and the market produce.

It was especially interesting to learn how to spot fresh fish and squid.

We then took a boat ride from the markets to red bridge resturant down the river, where we had the lessons.

Our teacher was a crack-up apparently he learnt alot of his english from aussie teachers and his sense of humour was great.

I love the concept of making food fun. James you will so be showing me how to do that, I’d love to surprise Jerome with a pretty salad in his lunchbox.
