I just had a DSL plan change to a 1500/256 line. So I thought I would try and upgrade my Speedtouch Home.

For some reason the Speedtouch Home modem that I have had for years won't accept a firmeware upgrade when using Firefox.

I had to install the upgrade using Internet Explorer.

I suppose there probably is a cli that could have done the same thing without resorting to IE looking at the nmap returns it looks as if the modem has the facility to accept stuff via ftp.
