I have a license (less than a year old) for VMWare Workstation Pro

I migrated my account from VMWare.com to broadcom.com but my license keys, entitlements, downloads are not appearing in the support dashboard.

I tried to raise a support ticket but it says I need a valid entitlement

I tried to add my licensing by fishing out my license email and adding them but no success there either.

I Googled but found each link lead back to the Broadcom site. I searched on the Broadcom support site attempting to find a download via Broadcom's site but couldn't. Finally went to Reddit and whishing to avoid 3rd party download sites found someone posted a link to vmware.com's update server https://softwareupdate.vmware.com/cds/vmw-desktop/ws/17.5.2/23775571/windows/core/

So now I've installed VMWare Workstation Pro.

And all this was required because I now use Hyper-V guests and WSL on my main workstation and VMWare no longer runs Windows 11 guests side by side with those other Virtualization technologies.
