I know Ubuntu is getting a lot of the kudos recently for being the most popular distro.

But Fedora deserves a lot of credit, if not for anything else for this:

Presto reduced the update size by 80% (from 222 M to 46 M)

It's yum based update system proactively checks for deltas of your upgrade packages and then merges them with what you have instead of downloading full packages each time. Which obviously saves time and bandwidth.

Boo Yah Fedora!

I also like it for:

Gnome 3. Which is better, in my opinion than Unity
