Warning: Updating the firmware on these cams to V14.45.5.0_220713 causes the on screen text to disappear and not be viewable when the cam is connected to a third-party DVR or when directly connected to via the Swann PC app. If you want to maintain OSD of name and datetime do NOT upgrade to this version of firmware

Check the swann website for the latest firmware

Install Swann Security Windows App

Connect to cam with IP, Private, Port 9988 admin user and pass

Don't do bulk upgrade from the Device Management Page

Go into the Cog Icon (Remote Parameter) beside each Cam

Go into Advanced => Firmware Upgrade

Browse to Firmware file

Click Start

Wait till upload is 100%

You might see Update success and other status messages as the firmware update progress

You will see a communications failure message when the cam reboots

As the cam reboots I had to wait for 10 pings before the device would come backup again
