As we watch the news, place names are mentioned and we think 'Hmm that is in the Middle East' or 'Yeah that's in South America' but recently I stumbled upon http://www.geosense.net/ and I've discovered I really don't know where exactly many of the worlds countries are located.

It's an educational game which gives you a map, a place name and country. You then have to click as close as possible to the location of the place name and optionally do it in competition with someone else.

If I have trouble with placing countries on a map of the world. I wonder how American's go?
