Chromium Browser on Fedora 15 – No Page Load Bug

Written by James McDonald

A few weeks ago I installed Chromium Browser on my Fedora 15 Workstation.

I have noticed some strange behaviour.

Problem:

  1. Open a shortcut from a favourites menu
  2. Page appears to start loading but doesn’t display
  3. Put cursor in Location field. Press enter and page displays

Work-a-round:
I worked around it by installing the Google Chrome browser which does as expected.

I should log this as a bug with the package maintainer but I haven’t the time at them moment (currently re-painting parts of my house).
