The Australian newspaper industry is moving toward having Pay-walls up for it’s news online news content. I don’t have a problem specifically with paying for a product that I use everyday ( smh.com.au, news.com.au, etc) but if they are going to ask for money I would love to see the removal of all advertisements so that the bonus you get for paying for the news content is a complete absence of Ads.

The news portals these days are so Ad heavy I think many people would be relieved to not have to look-a-round all the advertisements.

It’s never going to happen but one can dream.
